Bag Roasted Chicken Recipe

- 1/2 Stick Butter softened
- 1 tsp Fresh Rosemary minced
- Sprigs of Rosemary
- 1 tsp Thyme minced
- Sprigs of Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Paprika plus more to sprinkle on top of chicken
- 1 Whole Chicken 3-4 pounds
- Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to taste
- 1 Oven Ready Roasting Bag
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a small bowl, add the diced rosemary and thyme to the softened butter, along with 1/4 tsp of paprika, mix to combine. Next, spread the herb butter over the whole chicken.
Next season by sprinkling some salt, cracked black pepper, and paprika over the chicken.
Next, add fresh sprigs of rosemary and thyme inside the cavity of the chicken along with any other aromatics, if using.
Next, place the chicken inside of an oven ready roasting bag and close the bag with the tie that comes with it. Transfer the roasting bag into a roasting pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow the chicken to rest 15 minutes before carving.
