Glazed Baby Carrots with Honey and Ginger

Ingredients

Cut and Peeled Baby Carrots
3-4

Water

tbs
Butter
1
tbs
Peeled and Grated Fresh Ginger
1/4
c
Honey
Pinch
of Kosher Salt
Fresh Parsley

Instructions
Begin by adding the water to a large pot and bring to a boil.
When the water begins to boil, add the carrots. Bring everything back to a simmer and cook until tender, 5-7 minutes.
Drain the cooked carrots in a colander and set aside.
Place the cooking pot back on the stove top over medium heat.
Next, add the butter to the pot and melt.
Next, add the honey and freshly grated ginger and stir to combine the glaze.
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors of the glaze.
Bring the glaze mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Return the cooked carrots back to the pot with the glaze. Turn the carrots making sure to get them all coated well with the honey ginger glaze.
Simmer while turning the carrots in the glaze mixture for 5 minutes.
Serve hot.
