Southern Skillet Fried Corn

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbs Bacon Fat Drippings
  • 2 tbs Butter
  • 28 oz Frozen Sweet Kernel Corn If using fresh: 5-6 ears with kernels cut off of the cob
  • Pinch of Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Begin by melting the bacon fat and butter together in a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • Next, add the corn kernels and gently stir to combine.
  • Next, season with salt and pepper.
  • Continue to gently stir the corn until it is heated through.
  • Serve hot.
