Easy Pineapple Cheese Ball Recipe with Pecans
Gather 'round because I've got a treat for you today. We're making a Pineapple Cheese Ball that's perfect for any occasion, from summer picnics to holiday gatherings. This delightful appetizer is a creamy blend of cream cheese, crushed pineapple, and a hint of green bell pepper for a touch of crunch. Roll it all up in a coat of chopped pecans, or serve it in a hollow pineapple half and you've got yourself a showstopper. Serve it with your favorite crackers and watch as your guests come back for more. It's sweet, savory, and oh-so-delicious, just like Grandma used to make! - 16 ounces Cream Cheese softened to room temperature (that's two 8 ounce packages)
- 8 ounce Crushed Pineapple drained well
- ½ Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated
- ½ cup Green Bell Pepper finely diced
- ½ cup Red Onion finely diced
- 1 tablespoon Seasoned Salt I used Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans divided
In a large mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients reserving some of the chopped pecans for garnish. Use a hand mixer to combine everything together.
Transfer the mixture to a hollowed pineapple half and garnish with the remaining chopped pecans; serve with crackers.

The pineapple cheeseball mixture can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Take out of the fridge and hour before serving to soften.
The mixture may also be formed into a ball shape and served on a platter.
The pineapple cheese ball spread is delicious with crackers, bagel chips, or toasted bread pieces.
