Filling
- 2 21 oz. Cans of Apple Pie Filling
- 1 Cup Powdered Confectioners Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
Topping
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 c Quick Cooking Oats
- 1 c All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 c Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 c Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C)
In a mixing bowl, combine the canned apple pie filling with the confectioner's sugar and spices; add to a baking dish.
Next; prepare the topping mixture in a small bowl by combining the oats with the sugars, flour and salt then cut in the butter using your fingers or a pastry cutter. When crumbly, layer on top of the apple mixture.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes until hot and bubbly and browned on top.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
