Fresh Squeezed Lemonade Recipe

Refreshing fresh squeezed lemonade recipe to quench your thirst on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 Lemons juiced (2 cups)
  • 2 Lemons sliced for garnish
  • 1 c Hot Water
  • 1 1/4 c Sugar
  • 12-15 c Cold Water
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  • Add hot water to a pitcher. I use the hottest tap water. Add sugar to hot water and stir until dissolved.
  • Juice lemons into a large measuring cup. Each lemon should yield about 1/4 c of juice.
  • Add fresh lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher, stir to combine.
    Add fresh lemon slices to lemonade if desired. Serve with ice and a slice of lemon.
