Ground Beef Stroganoff
A family favorite meal of creamy ground beef stroganoff served over noodles.

- 1 - 1.5 lbs Ground Beef can use cubed beef chunks if preferred for a traditional style
- 1 tbs Vegetable Oil
- 8 oz Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 Onion diced
- 1 Clove of Garlic minced
- Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 c All Purpose Flour
- 2 c Beef Bone Broth or Stock
- 1.5 c Sour Cream
- Cooked Hot Buttered Egg Noodles
- 2 tbs Softened Butter to toss with cooked noodles
Bring 3-4 quarts of water to a boil. Add a dash of salt. When water boils add the egg noodles and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and toss with softened butter.
While the pasta cooks, add the ground beef to a skillet and break apart. Next add the vegetable oil, mushrooms, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and sauté over medium heat until the meat has cooked through.
Next, add the flour to the meat mixture and stir to combine. Cook the meat mixture stirring for another 2 minutes.
Next, add the beef stock to the meat mixture and stir until thickened to a gravy like consistency.
Remove the meat mixture from the heat and stir in sour cream. Serve over hot buttered egg noodles.
