- 4 Thick Cut Pork Chops
- 1/4 c Vegetable Oil
- 3 tsp White Vinegar
- 2 tsp Water
- 2 tbs Seasoning Rub such as Charleston Pig
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Cracked Black Pepper
- 2 tsp Olive Oil for cooking
- Paprika
In a large zip lock bag, add vegetable oil, vinegar, and water. Mix together. Add seasoning rub, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
Next, add the pork chops and seal the bag. Coat everything and refrigerate overnight.
Remove the marinated chops from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking to allow to come to room temperature.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In an oven ready skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium high heat on the stove top.
When pan is hot add pork chops and sear each side 3 minutes.
Remove the skillet from the stove top and place in preheated oven. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
