Ingredients

  • 4 Thick Cut Pork Chops
  • 1/4 c Vegetable Oil
  • 3 tsp White Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Water
  • 2 tbs Seasoning Rub such as Charleston Pig
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Cracked Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil for cooking
  • Paprika

Instructions

  • In a large zip lock bag, add vegetable oil, vinegar, and water. Mix together. Add seasoning rub, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  • Next, add the pork chops and seal the bag. Coat everything and refrigerate overnight.
  • Remove the marinated chops from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking to allow to come to room temperature.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In an oven ready skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium high heat on the stove top.
  • When pan is hot add pork chops and sear each side 3 minutes. 
  • Remove the skillet from the stove top and place in preheated oven. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
