Roasted Parmesan Asparagus

Easy oven roasted asparagus with Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lb Bunch of Asparagus
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • Cracked Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tbs Parmesan Cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C)
  • Trim 1/2 to 1 inch off of the cut stem part of the asparagus spears.
  • Wash the asparagus and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Place the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil then use your fingers to massage the oil over the spears to coat.
  • Next, add the seasonings and grated Parmesan cheese and turn to coat.
  • Place the asparagus on a lined baking sheet and place into the oven to roast for 15 minutes.

Notes

Do not over cook asparagus.
Use thick cut spears if available.
