Sirloin Tip Beef Roast

- 2 LB Sirloin Roast
- Cracked Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup of Beef Broth
- 3 TBS Corn Starch
- 1 cup of Cold Water
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Season the outside of the beef roast with salt and pepper then place in a dutch oven or baking dish.
Pour one cup of beef broth into the pan with the roast then cover; bake 3½ to 4 hours until fork tender.
Prepare a slurry mixture to thicken the pan gravy by combining the cornstarch and water then pour into the pan with the roast the last half hour of cooking. Gently stir to combine the slurry mixture with the beef broth. Return the roast to the oven un-covered for remaining cook time.
