Zesty Lime Shrimp Tacos

Fresh shrimp tacos made with a zesty lime marinade and a hint of Creole seasoning are perfect lighter fare. Serve with your favorite toppings and sides.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp fresh shelled and deveined and remove tails
  • 1 c Zesty Lime Vinaigrette Dressing I used Kraft
  • 1/2 tsp Creole Seasoning
  • Pinch of Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • Soft Taco Shells or crunchy if you prefer
  • Favorite Toppings

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine dressing, creole seasoning, salt and pepper and whisk to combine.
  • Add shrimp to to the marinade and refrigerate 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • When ready to cook, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
  • With a slotted spoon remove shrimp from marinade and add to skillet. It's okay if some of the marinade stays on the shrimp. Discard any remaining marinade.
  • Cook until shrimp have pinked, this will take 6-10 minutes. Add cooked shrimp to a bowl and assemble tacos with your favorite toppings.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings, such as Shredded Lettuce, Fresh Cilantro, Guacamole, Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, Salsa or Pico do Gallo.
  • Garnish with limes for an extra citrus splash if desired.
