In this post I’m sharing how to make Easy Valentine White Chocolate Bark.
Valentine’s Day bark candy is so easy to make and it’s the perfect gift for all of your sweethearts…little kids, big kids, friends and family.
Bark candies are budget friendly and are great to package a few pieces in cellophane gift bags to share. You can adjust this how to recipe to suit any occasion or holiday too.

Easy Valentine Treats
The number of ingredients for this easy sweet treat depends upon your own creativity and what you’d like to add. I used four ingredients in this batch.
I usually like to add a bit of salty with all of the sweetness in bark candy but I didn’t have anything on hand.
Bark candies are also a great activity to involve your kids or grandchildren in because decorating can be so much fun.
White Chocolate Bark Ideas
Traditional pink, red and white colors of Valentine’s day work so well with the vanilla flavored white chocolate. It’s fun, festive and pretty!
As a reminder, you can always find the full printable recipe cards near the bottom of our posts.
Bark candy is typically pretty rustic as broken up pieces. You can use cookie cutters however if you’d prefer to add some fun shapes into your batch like I did with the hearts.
As my Valentine bark candy was setting up I pressed in a couple of heart shaped cookie cutters and left them there until the bark candy was fully set.
Valentine’s Day Bark Candy

Here’s what you’ll need to make Valentine’s Day Bark: Candiquick (almond bark will also work), Valentine theme candy ( I used M&M’s, heart sprinkles and conversation heart candy), and a sheet pan lines with parchment paper.
Other toppings you might use: peanuts, pretzels, coconut flakes, cinnamon candies or chopped candy bar pieces.
How Do You Make Candy Bark?
It takes just a few short minutes to make a batch of candy bark. I made this Valentine candy bark in less than five minutes.
Step 1: Melt the Candiquick (or Almond Bark) according to the package directions. I’m using Candiquick because that is usually easiest for me to find at the Wal Mart.
Candiquick comes with its own microwaveable tray so it is super easy to use. Just remove from the boxed packaging and remove the plastic film. Put the tray in the microwave and heat on high for 60 seconds. Stir, then heat up to 15 seconds more if needed until smooth.
The big rule in melting candy coating like Candiquick or Almond Bark is to not over heat it. If you do, it becomes dry and crumbly…not a good thing.
It looks a bit deceptive after the first minute and still holds it’s shape but once you stir it melts down as shown above.
Step 2: Pour the smooth melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread as evenly as possible to the desired thickness.
Step 3: Have Fun! Decorate your candy bark with your chosen toppings then allow the bark to harden and set up. You can speed up the process by popping it into the refrigerator for a few minutes. Break up the pieces once it is set.
How Do You Store Chocolate Bark?
Bark candy is best stored at room temperature in an air tight container or individually wrapped cellophane gift bags.
