Southern Hushpuppies Recipe

Please Share Y'all!

In this post I’ll be sharing a Southern Hushpuppies Recipe.

Hushpuppies are a traditional favorite side to a delicious seafood dinner. Fried catfish, fried shrimp or any other type of fried seafood meal usually is plated with coleslaw, baked beans, fries and plenty of hushpuppies.

I do love me some hushpuppies. It may sound a bit strange to you but I enjoy dipping them into mayonnaise. Truth be told, I think hushpuppies might just be my favorite thing about fish Fridays.

Combine all of the ingredients together and mix well.

Drop the hushpuppy batter by the teaspoon full into the oil and fry until golden brown, rotating slightly during cooking. Cook in batches so there is plenty of room for cooking.
