Cheeseburger Pie

This recipe was inspired by a Betty Crocker recipe. I found myself looking for something to put together for dinner one evening after a long day.

It needed to be quick, easy and work with the ingredients I had on hand. I had everything for burgers, except the buns.

Now I have been known to serve a low carb meal of burgers with no buns on occasion but thought I would try something a bit different. So Cheeseburger Pie it is!

Served alongside pan fried potatoes and a side salad was a delicious meal. Very filling too! I’m sure kids would love this too.

My word that looks good. It reminds me of a pizza I had one time…cheeseburger pizza and it had a ketchup/mustard sauce and it was topped with dill pickles.
