Kristi’s Dry Rub for Chicken

  • 1/4 c Paprika
  • 1 Tbs Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 Tbs Black Pepper
  • 3 Tbs Kosher Salt
  • 2 Tbs Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbs Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbs Cumin
  • 1 Tbs Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tbs Dried Thyme


Makes 1 cup
Sprinkle the dry rub all over chicken, rubbing it into the skin and under the skin. Refrigerate rubbed chicken at least 3 hours to overnight prior to cooking.
Note: This rub is also good with pork.
