Easy Mushroom Cream Sauce is so delicious and so easy to prepare. Use it to top beef or chicken. You’ll feel like you’re eating in a restaurant with this sauce!
- 1 pt Crimini Mushrooms (baby bellas), stems removed
- 1/2 c Water
- 1 tbs Butter
- 1/3 c Heavy Cream
- 1 can Campbell’s French Onion Soup
- Cracked Black Pepper, to taste
- Pinch Cayenne Pepper
Cut mushrooms into chunks and add to a medium sauce pan. Add chopped mushrooms, French Onion Soup, butter and water.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat and reduce liquid amount by half.
Once the liquid amount has reduced, add heavy cream, cracked black pepper, and a pinch of cayenne. Continue to simmer until sauce begins to thicken.
