It’s football season again! Here are some Easy Appetizers for Football season – Beef Ball, Pigs in Blankets, Pinwheels, Veggie Tray, and the number one hit in my house at least ~ Chicken Wings
Dried Beef Ball
5 oz. dried beef, chopped 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
cracked black pepper
In a medium bowl, combine the beef, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Add cracked black pepper if desired. Mix well and roll into a football. Reserve a couple of strips of dried beef to garnish/decorate to look like a football. Chill for at least 1 hour.
Serve with crackers of your choice.
Pigs in Blankets
1 Package of Lil Beef Smokies (you can use regular hot dogs also)
1 Package of Pillsbury Croissants
Cut the croissant dough into strips and wrap each lil smokie. Bake in a 375 degree oven until the dough has browned. Serve with a side of dipping sauce – mustard is my favorite.
Favorite Meats and Cheeses
Lettuce or Olives (optional)
Lay meats and cheese onto tortilla shell, roll, and slice. Garnish by inserting decorative party picks.
Baked or Fried as long as the skin is crispy. Coat in your favorite sauce. Make a lot of wings! I’ve found they are the most popular item every time.
