Chocolate Banana Muffins Recipe

 

In this post I’ll be sharing a Chocolate Banana Muffins Recipe.

Chocolate banana muffins are make a great snack or dessert treat! Kids love this tasty treat! The moist and delicious muffins are also a great way to use up ripe bananas too.

The scratch made recipe is made with basic pantry items and they turn out beautifully every time. Enjoy as they are or top them with a bit of whipped cream and a few chocolate chips for extra richness.

Ingredients

  • Ripe Bananas , mashed
  • Eggs
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Vegetable Oil
  • All Purpose Flour
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Baking Powder
  • Dash of Salt
  • Chocolate Chip Morsels

Moist Chocolate Banana Muffins

Preheat oven to 350℉.
 
In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and vegetable oil with a hand mixer.
 
Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, mix to combine.
 
Next, stir in the chocolate chip morsels.
 
Add the muffin batter to a cupcake or muffin pan with cupcake liners.
 
Bake 18-20 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
 
Allow the muffins to cool before serving.
 
 

Chocolate banana muffins are perfect for sharing too! Bake up a batch and share with friends and neighbors who love homemade treats.

 
Cooks Note: This recipe can also be baked as a bread. Adjustments to cooking time will need to be made. If baking as a bread begin checking with a toothpick after 30 minutes.
