1 stick Butter
1 c Heavy Cream
2 c grated Parmesan Cheese, use a good quality cheese
1 tsp Garlic, minced (optional)
Fresh Grated Black Pepper
Heat butter and cream until butter is melted over medium low heat. Once simmering add cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Add salt, pepper. If using garlic add the garlic to the butter cream portion while heating.
This is a cream sauce so stir constantly to prevent scorching.
Serve over pasta or your favorite pasta dish.
