Classic southern meatballs, or grape jelly meatballs as they’re better known, are a favorite at gatherings. You may have had these and not even realized what the sauce is made from.

It’s one of the easiest appetizers you can make. They are delicious and your guest will be going back for more! Be sure to make plenty because they disappear faster than you could imagine.

Everyone’s face seems to light up when they see a serving crock or platter with these amazing meatball appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Frozen Meatballs
  • 12 oz Chili Sauce
  • 18 oz Grape Jelly (or jam)
  • 2 tbs Dijon Mustard (optional)

Add meatballs to a crock pot and top with chili sauce and grape jelly. Set on high heat. Stir occasionally. I don’t use the Dijon mustard but many do, so if using add it with the rest of the ingredients.

Cook on high for 3 hours and serve with appetizer forks or party picks.
 
You can use the same sauce with lit’l smokies cocktail links or sliced smoked sausage bites.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Frozen Meatballs

Can this Grape Jelly Meatball recipe be doubled if you have a 6 quart crockpot?
