Italian Pinwheels Appetizer Recipe
In this post I’ll be sharing an easy Italian Pinwheels Appetizer Recipe.
It’s no secret that your favorite crescent roll dough that you get at the grocery store is so versatile in creating wonderful treats. You can create wonderful appetizers, snacks, or sweet treats by rolling up your favorite ingredients.
I had some leftover ingredients after a Homemade Pizza Dinner Party and decided to use them to make these Italian Pinwheels. Easy and delicious!
Your family will love these delicious pinwheels as a movie snack or appetizer. Guests love them too!
Ingredients:
1 roll Crescent Rolls
Prosciutto
Salami
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Unroll and layout crescent dough. Arrange the ingredients on the dough, starting with the meat slices, then sprinkle on the cheese and roll up. Slice into approximately 1″ pieces and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake until golden brown 15-20 minutes.
Easy Italian Pinwheel Appetizer

Pinwheels are a delicious treat. They are so easy to prepare and will work with any sliced meats and cheeses you have on hand to create a tasty appetizer.
Italian Pinwheels Appetizer
Ingredients
- 1 Roll of Crescent Roll Dough
- 4 Slices of Prosciutto
- 4 Slices of Salami
- 1/4 c Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a cutting board. Arrange the meat slices on the dough then sprinkle on cheese. Roll up then slice into approximately 1" slices. Transfer the pinwheel rolls to a baking sheet.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and delicious.
Nutrition
Can you believe how simple it is to create these wonderful pinwheel appetizers? That’s really all it takes. Delicious appetizers don’t have to be fussy or complicated.
I prefer to keep things simple. It is a lot less stressful that way!
