Tasty Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Garden Veggies

In this post I am sharing how to prepare Tasty Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Garden Veggies.

The combination of bacon and brussels sprouts go together like peas and carrots. It is so delicious when combined with the other vegetables in this recipe for an amazing side dish.

 Here’s what you’ll need

  • 1 lb of Brussels Sprouts, sliced in half
  • 3-4 strips of Bacon
  • 1 Orange Bell Pepper, or whatever color pepper you have on hand
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 small Yellow Onion
  • 2 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Easy Tasty Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Brown bacon in a skillet until crispy over medium heat. When the bacon reaches desired crispiness, remove from skillet and place on a paper towel lined plate. Once the bacon is cool, chop into pieces.
 

Add the olive oil to the bacon drippings in the skillet. Add your Brussels Sprouts and sauté along with the other vegetables until tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add cooked bacon pieces for garnish before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Brussels Sprouts sliced in half
  • 3-4 strips of Bacon
  • 1 Orange Bell Pepper or whatever color pepper you have on hand
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 small Yellow Onion
  • 2 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon until crispy then remove from the pan, chop and reserve for garnish.
  • Next, add the Brussels sprouts, onion, peppers, olive oil and seasonings and saute until the vegetables are tender.
  • Top with bacon pieces when serving.
