Southern Pan Fried Potatoes Recipe
In this post I’m sharing how to make and easy Southern Pan Fried Potatoes recipe.
Pan fried potatoes are a favorite for breakfast or a supper side dish. I prefer my cast iron skillet for this dish. I tend to keep it simple, but these potatoes can be dressed up to if desired with the addition of other seasonings and diced peppers.
If I have some fresh made gravy handy, I will put some over my potatoes because it’s soooo good!
The Southern supper table doesn’t always include a meat. Sometimes it is just a vegetables plate with maybe some beans, fried potatoes, some type of greens and cornbread.
Potatoes are also a great food staple for families because they’re filling and can be prepared in so many delicious ways.
Here’s my version of pan fried potatoes. You’ll also find a printable recipe card further down in this post.
